Safety Signs, Home Economics and Cake Icing

When learning about safety signs, students of the Monifieth High School in Dundee, came up with an idea that would help them to remember the signs. They used cake making and icing as way learn safety signs in an interesting and meaningful way.

They also used the approach to communicate the message to people in industry.

Their approach won accolades and took them to the Scottish Parliament to meet several MSPs and other professionals.

Some of the students even managed to take photos of themselves in the Debating Chamber.
