Local Groups

There are over 70 health and Safety Groups (affiliated to RoSPA) and they are located throughout the UK

Some key objectives of Groups include:

• Promoting interest in, awareness of, and the need for accident and

ill health prevention

• Providing a network for the dissemination of knowledge
• Fostering a spirit of fellowship and cooperation at a local level in all matters

connected with occupational safety and health and working collectively to

enhance the protection of people from workplace risks

Safety Groups provide a local forum for meetings, networking and co-operation between employers of all kinds, health and safety inspectors and trade unions.
